walking on sunshine

finally i'm back from 6 days of camp's life. the 16 hours i slept away was really nice. first time i slept for so long -.- ehs. shall reminisce the time i've spent during the camp.

Friday31st
booked into camp. ZJ got into air claw; i got into typhoon. so seperated into our groups. there was actually a story behind the camp. its about a viallge with ninjas. the GPs were official senseis. the groups' mum and dad were ninjas taking a test to see if they could pass to be promoted to senseis. haa. did icebreaking games. each group was assigned a mummy and daddy. there were 6 groups. havoc, piranha, stinger, typhoon, air claw and scorpion. so we found our mummy and daddy from a map that was provided. btw, dad and mum's name is zhe han and jasmine respectively. so sat down and introduced ourselves. did our mascot in school. that part was fun. everybody participated. and we have to beg for items. in shuriken blast, the whole group have to request for something together with something you have to present. for eg. a dance. had to hold on to the mascot and 2 bottles at all times. otherwise have to do forfeit again if the Gps get to steal it. and more games. the caterpillar game. had to stand alternate. girl and guy. "giap" a balloon in between us. and walk as a group to pick something on the ground. there was also this game. 2 dices were rolled. one was to choose the fruits available. the other was to determine the body parts used. likewise, we had to "giap" the fruit in between the guy and girl body part and put it into a bucket. and many other games.

in the evening went to PA. had dinner. and went to bunks to put our things. after that was games time. played alot. forgotten. but there was one that was definitely memorable. we were blindfolded and brought around the place. fed with wasabi on bread at a point in time. yucks. the most torturing one came at the finale. made to commando crawl. wading in a drain. a real drain. could feel the disgusting algae-mosses texture on both sides of the drain. rolling in a mud pit. bathed with water after that. so at the end of the whole walk in blindness, we were practically freezing. went back to bunks to bathe. after that was supper. but typhoon didn't wanted to eat. so we retired for the night. time was 5a.m in the morning.

April fool's day
woked up at 9.15am. bathed and breakfast time. after that we were given a list to make. so we went to find materials for the items. present it after that. simple. den games. there were battleships game. jus that human was used instead of ships. had to lie ourselves on the court. and throw water bombs to the enemy side. after which was the balloon game. tied a balloon to our ankle. and had to step on the opponent balloon. aim of course is to burst it. and more games. in between when we were waiting for instructions to be given, we would sit down and practise our songs and stuffs. and lunck time. most memorable lunch i have ever had. sat in a circle as a group. hand were tied to the person's hand beside you. so meaning that we have to feed one another. that was fun. hahaha. forgotten what we did after lunch. but definitely the games were fun. the only time i feel real bored was when i was waiting for my turn to do the night walk. waited from 11pm to 3am plus before i was paired with another girl from air claw. yea. so we walked. and i forgot her name. haa. talked during the whole journey. believe me. the walk was spookey. no torches. no lights. only light sticks on the wall to guide where you are supposed to go. so we went up the stairs. into the first room. complete darkness. only light from the light sticks. there was also effects. got the mist when we were walking. so blinded by the mist la. that type where they used it during performances. more thrilling is there are the GPs situated around to scare you. and my partner was those bold type. she didn't even whimper. haa. brave. yea. so the whole journey ended in around 15 mins. there was one that really gave me a shock. walk and walk, suddenly a hand grap my shin there. freaking shock. the other tricks were nothing. like dustbin moving around. dolls flying. ghastly sound. and best, flying sandals. lols. i got shocked by the hand. she got shocked by this. haa. we are quits. porridge for supper. went back to bunks. bathed. wrote messages to our mummy and daddy. slept at 5 plus too. locked ramesh outside the room. cos he was the last to come into the room. and we were pestering him to do a forfeit. slept at 5am.

Sunday2nd
woke up at 10am. prepared to go back to SP. so we packed our bags and went to the canteen.
were slacking around then we heard, "typhoon, somebody is missing from your group". and we looked around. and realised mummy was lost. yea la. and we had to do forfeit. we have to travel around in a group. aniwhere. even to the toilet. so we did the barnie song. "i love you, you love me. we are happy family. with a big big hug and a kiss from me to you, i love you and you love me". with actions. yea. and the GPs finds there was something missing. so haa. so in the end daddy had to propose and kiss mummy and carry her back to her seat. i guess they were feeling embarassed la. somemore mummy's boyfren was one of the GPs. lols. so we went back to school. lunch. and more games. water games. water polo. jus that you can touch the ground. and 2 others. after that dinner. and more games. this time our mummy and daddy got lost. aww. so sad la. den forfeit again. haa. there was this fun part during dinner. a half watermelon was provided for us to eat. but not cut at all. so we all used our spoon to dig the flesh out. haa. so fun. had our last chance to practise the songs for the campfire. after that the campfire started. 12am plus. campfire was quite a disappointment. did the campfire welcome song. and more songs. actions and all. there was also this item where guys were dressed up as ah guas. and songs again. know why is it a disappointment? cos every song was done only 1 time. no cheering competitons. thou alot of us were having sore throat. i think it was too organised. i mean like the more popular songs should be done a few more times ma. its always in this way. there was one part that was really nice. feeling melancholic. the camp chief burning the score sheet. and brought out the mascots of all the groups that they have managed to steal the night before- except that it was merged together. there he said, the score sheet is redudant. now we have merged as one. then thank us for coming. after that all the ninjas went to a room after the campfire ended. all in a room. 130 plus people including the GPs. the music came on. DISCO TIME. i really have an enjoyable time then. kept dancing. jumping to the beat. even those that are quite shy went to the floor to dance. yea. everyone was so high. so after those very hot dance, it was time for some slow music. the first song was like. girl dance with girls. and guys with guys. then the 2nd song was guy with girl le. haa. funny hors. yea. and my partner was xue li. one of the GLs. haa. i was looking for a partner den she approach mie le. so paiseh. first dance partner in my life. second was bai yu, one of the GPs. las was lin yun. my groupmate. haa. ended around 5 plus. de sad part was that me and zj have to leave first. for home. to prepare for the upcoming camp. body was aching. feeling tired. got the contacts of my groupmates and went home.

felt really happy during the whole camp. no regrets joining the camp. made alot of friends. i will never forget my groupmates. and mummy and daddy. haha. *3 cheers for typhoon* felt really happy being with you guys.

going to marina later to celebrate daddy's birthday. mummy plan de. haa. can meet typhoon again. haa.
